Massamun, unlike other curry pastes, contains a medley of spices along with our standard curry ingredients. This paste has a much stronger aromatic spice fragrance from cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg. If you are a big fan of spices, this might be your new favorite paste.
Ingredients: Massamun curry paste (dried red chili, shallot, lemon grass, garlic, galangal, mace, cinnamon, cardamom seed, coriander seed, cumin powder) water, safflower oil, 100% freshly squeezed lemon juice, cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Directions: Stir 1 heaping TSP of Thai & True Massamun Curry Paste in medium-heated oil. Add choice of protein and veggies. Then, add 1 cup of coconut milk. Bring it to simmer and serve.

The consistency is more of a sauce than a paste. It says to use 1tbsp, but I ended up using the entire jar for one batch of curry. It still had less flavor than other brands when using far less.

A warm, comforting curry. We start with fresh onion, garlic and ginger, then add some potato, carrot and any other veggies you prefer. Whole coconut milk and top with Thai spiced peanuts (from New Seasons)… this is a dish that will compete with any local Thai restaurant!
(Hint: don’t waste the last bit! add a little coconut milk to the jar and shake…then add to the dish!
