Panang curry paste starts out with the same ingredient as red curry paste but cumin is what sets it apart from others. To cook Panang curry, you will need Panang curry paste since it plays a big portion of your final flavor.
Ingredients: Red curry paste (dried red chili, shallot, lemon grass, garlic, salt, galangal, makrut lime zest, coriander seed, cumin powder), water, safflower oil, 100% freshly squeezed lemon juice and cumin.
Directions: Stir 1 heaping TSP of Thai & True Panang Curry Paste in medium-heated oil. Add choice of protein and veggies. Then, add 1 cup of coconut milk. Bring it to simmer and serve.

I first found Thai and True about 7 years ago at a local market, tried it and we were hooked. It is absolutely the BEST curry paste you can buy. I always keep it on hand to make a curry using the paste, a can of coconut milk or cream and a little water, drop in a bunch of veggies and protein, and let simmer a few minutes and we have a meal that tops all others. We love it, and can't find it locally since we moved, but order it so we always have a backup stock on hand. Excellent product!!!
Some curry paste isn't vegan so I started buying this brand after I went vegan and it's amazing. Whole Foods stopped stocking it so I tried a couple of other brands and was always disappointed. Now I order directly from the T&T website to make sure I always have it at home. Aside from just using it for thai curry I also add it to ramen. Panang and Massaman are my favorites.

I absolutely love this Panang curry Paste. It's surely my favorite and makes a quick delicious dinner so easy. I chop different colored peppers, onion, mushrooms, asparagus or broccoli, add cubed tofu and a little ginger and garlic, then add the Panang Curry Paste and some coconut milk, simmer a short while and voila! People think I'm a great cook! LOL! It's the Thai and True Panang Curry that's the magic. I've tried many other curry pastes over the years and their is no comparison. None.
