This is good stuff. It's got a good kick to it, but it's a round chile heat, not a flat, one-dimensional flavor. The garlic probably helps. I've only had it for 2 days but have seasoned eggs, a sandwich, and steamed rice with this product. Do be aware that even though it says "oil" on the label, it's more of a thick chile/garlic paste. It's gonna dollop more than drip from your spoon. All in all, highly recommended if you are looking for a good, flavorsome, straightforward chili oil.
A teaspoon of this is enough to spice-up a full saucepan of food for four. I use it in tomato sauces, coconut milk sauces, stir-fry's and butter sauces. It has an honest, hot chili flavor, but I always add extra garlic :)
